CHEF SHOWDOWN

For the past two years, Consciously Social has been the design and coordination sponsor for the Chef Showdown: Taking A Stand Against Domestic Violence. In the spirit of "Iron Chef", this high-energy, annual event breaks the boundaries of the ordinary culinary benefit by inviting some San Diego's finest chefs to perform under pressure before a live audience and panel of judges.

Guests come from all over the county to enjoy cuisine from these award-winning restaurants, watch the high-energy competition, and raise money and awareness for the Center for Community Solutions. This year, one lucky guest was offered a chance to earn a coveted seat at the judges’ table in the live auction that took place before the show.

Other highlights of Chef Showdown include a bountiful silent auction, live music, DJ's, and CCS's signature silhouettes, which in the midst of the excitement, subtly remind guests why they came by telling the stories of women whose lives were affected by domestic violence.
